• BUILDING ON THE FOUNDATIONS OF DEVELOPMENT
  While the 21st century holds new hope for mankind, so does it pose challenges. Progress has its price, one of which is the increasing complexity of the world we live in. Now more than ever, government, non-government, and even business organizations are pooling resources in preparation for the big millennial leap.

• CAPACITY BUILDING
  Building its member foundations’ capacities is the core program of AF. Given the significant reduction in the traditional fund sources of foundations, courses in resource generation skills, particularly creative fundraising and partnering with business and local government are newest in the AF line-up.

• NETWORKING
  Collaboration, partnerships and convergence are development buzz-words of the coming decade which AF has been doing for over twenty years.

• INFORMATION CENTER
  Four editions of the Directory of NGOs were the pre-cursors to the Association’s entry into the information superhighway. AF is now host to four major databanks, providing information on all grant makers (local and foreign) operating in the Philippines as well as on 941 social development organizations which are members of or affiliated with CODE-NGO.
